TOO MANY THINGS.
You think I'd learn- I've done this at least one or two other semesters prior to this one. I think I've finally learned my lesson now, however- I have no reason to take 18 credits for the rest of my college career, and by golly I'm not going to! Take that, college!
My sister came up to visit over the three-day weekend. Besides leaving all of her bathroom necessities on my counter when she left, she had borrowed Zoo Tycoon from my parents' house over her last trip home. She had it when she visited us, so I might have asked Husband Man to put it on my laptop and let me tell you...
I missed that game!
I played it a lot when I was little, making zoo exhibits with tigers and lions and zebras and giraffes and giant anteaters and bighorn sheep (but not snow leopards or black leopards, because they're always unhappy for no reason).... It was unfortunate because she couldn't find the extended disc with Marine Mania and Dinosaur Digs on it... but while Husband Man was reserving his copy of "Mass Effect 3" on Amazon (the one game we agreed he could buy at $50 because he's been drooling over that game ever since he heard it was possibly coming out and I can't stand any more stains in the carpet) he discovered that we could get the extended disc for $10 bucks.
YES!
I have to wait until March to play it (which is probably for the best, I said, until Husband Man reminded me that it would come just in time for finals...) but until then... I have settled for the original Zoo Tycoon and will patiently wait to have stegosauruses and sea lions in my zoo. I am SO EXCITED to have this game back. I don't even care how lame it might be that I'm playing it. I think it's AWESOME!! Pandas and bears and okapis and camels and hippos!
I'm also not going to mention that I might have possibly maybe played Zoo Tycoon for at least 3 hours today.
I don't ever want to grow up. I think Zoo Tycoon will aid in this.
